On Monday, we got out of Dodge and headed down to Des Moines, where we had the privilege of watching House Majority Leader (and fellow church member) Linda Upmeyer in action at the Iowa Capitol. I had the honor of leading the state reps in prayer, and afterward we got the grand tour and enjoyed a little bit of the city. On the plus side: Panera bread. Disappointment: I had to leave the Law Library. I can’t remember seeing a more beautiful library. We can’t express deeper thanks to Representative Upmeyer and her staff. Thank you for all you do!
